This building of the head of the old station of the North, of "art deco" style, built in 1928, will become the new benchmark of culture and leisure in Madrid. Its central nave, a historic hall, will be transformed into the Bankia Príncipe Pío Grand Theater. While the side towers and the ground floor will host the first Lionsgate covered leisure park in Europe, "Lionsgate Entertainment City" which will occupy 4.200 square meters, and will be a project that will be carried out with Parques Reunidos and the company Lionsgate. The center will also have a wonderful terrace with views of the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral.
"Lionsgate Entertainment City" will focus on interactive experiences based on the blockbuster film franchises of Lionsgate. Visitors can explore the world of The Hunger Games, be part of "Osadía" in the Divergent Series, or travel back in time to a restaurant and lounge inspired by Mad Men. Designed for youngsters and adults, this center will have many attractions such as a challenge circuit, a climbing wall, a state-of-the-art motion simulator, a cinema in 4D and several virtual reality experiences.
